U18 Competitive Tryouts

Sept 30th Update: There were a number of players signed up for U18 Competitive who did not have a Checking Clinic on their HCR Profile; Without proof that a player has completed a Checking Clinic, players are unable to participate in the Scrimmage games. If your player's name is *not* listed below and you do have proof of your player completing a Checking Clinic at some point that might have somehow been missed, please reach out to Helen at registration@FlyersHockey.ca ASAP and we can get you in tonight.

As a result, we are running one two-hour long scrimmage for Session #1. Goaltenders are snake-drafted onto the Teams below based on their scores from the Goaltender Skills session. Players are snake-drafted based on the team they played on last year, in an attempt to make balanced teams. 

We are still hopeful to have a U18-B Team - in the 2022-2023 Season we have enough interest here at SMHA but there was not enough interest in other local associations to justify having a league. We are still working with the CMHL on this.

 

U18 Session #1 - Scrimmage

This will now be a 2-hr long scrimmage, with checking.

Any player not listed below who signed up for U18 Competitive - we could not locate a Checking Clinic attached to your HCR Profile. 

If you do have proof of completing a Checking Clinic, please contact Helen at Registration@FlyersHockey.ca. 

If there ends up not being any evaluation for U18-B we will absolutely refund comp tryout fees for those who do not have a Checking Clinic.
