Required Online Course: Hockey Parents Respect In Sport

Hockey Nova Scotia requires that at least one parent or guardian of every registered player completes mandatory online training called Respect in Sport. The deadline is November 1, 2024.

There are two versions of Respect in Sport: A Parent course, and also a Volunteer course. The courses does not expire, and the Parent course only needs to be done once per household. (This means that if it was completed when an older sibling started with Minor Hockey, it does not need to be completed again.)

This mandatory education program teaches about the role parents play in their child’s enjoyment of a sport or activity, and protecting your child when they are outside of your immediate control. Hockey Nova Scotia's Respect in Sport Link  |  https://hnsparent.respectgroupinc.com/
