Home Tournament - December 27-29, 2025 Bedford, Nova Scotia 

Noah Llewellyn Memorial Tournament 

Bedford & District Minor Hockey Association is excited to announce that we will once again host our annual Noah Llewellyn Memorial recreational hockey tournament at the HRM 4-Pad over the Christmas holidays. The tournament will run between the 27th and the 30th of December with games beginning on the morning on the 27th. (30th is currently booked as a contingency)

 

  • There will be four divisions – U11-B, U11-C, U13-B, U13-C, U15-B, U15-C and U18 (Recreation C-Level teams)
  • Maximum 8-10 teams per division
  • Game MVPs for all games
  • Tournament champions medals and prizing
  • 50-50 draw
  • Teams are guaranteed a minimum of three games
    • Round robin games 3 x 10 min periods stop time
    • Semi-finals and finals for each division
    • Elimination games 3 x 12 min periods stop time

Cost:
Thursday - January 22 - Room cost $112.55 plus applicable taxes 
Friday & Saturday - January 23-24 - Room Cost $136.53 per night plus applicable taxes
 
The hotel is booked from Thursday to Sunday, however once the game schedule is released, we may be able to drop Thursday night for those that would like to arrive Friday. Rooms can be dropped by calling the hotel directly. 
 
I have secured a few extra rooms to accomodate families that may need 2. All rooms have 2 queen beds in our room block.  
 
Please call the Hotel directly (506) 384-1050 to make individual room reservations for the group block. They will ask for a credit card to secure your personal room.

We have stayed there before and as long as the kids are out of the way and respectful, they are shockingly good about allowing mini sticks in the hall ways! 
 

Home Tournament - The Joe March 17-19, 2026  

The Joe features 2 x 12 minute stop-time and 1 x 15 minute stop-time periods for all games including crossovers and championship games. You are guaranteed 3 games and half the teams make the crossovers. There is also the Crosby shootout competition where 3 players and one goalie from your team will compete against other players from teams in your division.

Home Tournament - SEDMHA March 26-29, 2026

All games consist of three 15-minute stop-time periods.

Ice is flooded every 2 periods, after either the first or second period – So be aware there may not be a flood at the beginning of your game.
