U11 Competitive Tryouts 

• As per the SMHA Competitive Tryout Policy, the U11 Division Competitive process starts with four Snake Drafted groups. There are three evaluated Skills Session, then two evaluated Scrimmages, followed by Exhibition Games.
  
  
• Tryout Jerseys 
  • Requests for a specific jersey number cannot be accomodated. 
  • If a player's assigned Tryout Jersey is not returned at the end of the Competitive Tryout Process, there will be a $50 Jersey Replacement Fee added to the player's HCR account. 
  • Players released from the Competitive Tryout Process keep the same assigned jersey throughout the Recreation Evaluation process in October.

U11 Competitive Tryouts 

The list below identifies 84 Players and Goaltenders that are continuing in the U11 Competitive Team Selection Process.

• The player list was exported from SMHA's Team Genius Evaluation Software.
  • The list has 74 Players plus 10 Goaltenders.
• Any player not listed below has been Released from the U11 Competitive Tryouts process, and should report to the U11 Recreation Evaluations.
  • More information about Recreation Evaluations is found at the bottom of this page.
• There will be additional players released from the group below.
  • The Final Releases are following the Pre-Season Exhibition Games - more to come on the Exhibition Games below.
  • The list is not a team list.
    • i.e. Participating in a U11-A Exhibition Game does not guarantee a U11-A team placement.
• Final Teams
  • U11 Competitive Teams will be announced following the Practice Skates & Exhibition Games noted below.

U11 Competitive Tryouts - Phase 2: Pre-Season Exhibition Games

There are three sections below:

• U11-AA Exhibition Groups
• U11-A Exhibition Group
• U11-B Exhibition Group

U11-AA Exhibition Groups

This group includes two sub-groups, made up of the 44 skaters plus four goaltenders snake drafted by overall rank. These sub-groups will meet for one Practice Skate and 1-2 Exhibition Games (some details are still being sorted out) in consideration for one of SMHA's two U11-AA teams. There will be players released from U11-AA consideration - not everyone on these lists will be placed on a U11-AA team.

"For the Exhibition Game on Sun. Oct 1 -Please have players arrive no later than 9:00a, and be dressed - completely ready to go on the ice - by 9:45a."

There will be players released from the above U11-AA Exhibition Groups that will also be considered for U11-A. Not everyone on this list will be placed on the U11-A team.

There will be players released from the above U11-AA and U11-A Exhibition Groups that will also be considered for U11-B. Not everyone on this list will be placed on the U11-B team.
